Welcome to Dr Ruddell & Partners, Lisburn Health Centre
With this website we are aiming to help you find all the information you need at the click of a mouse. You can order repeat prescriptions online, download registration forms, change the contact details we hold for you and much more.
There is a wealth of information about medical conditions and diseases in our patient information leaflets as well as all the latest practice news and developments.
We are always looking to improve our services so leave some feedback on our contact page.
We will be closed for the bank holiday on Monday 13 July 2020. We will have a GP on call in the Practice on Tuesday 14 July 2020 for emergency calls only. Normal service for triage and routine calls will resume on Wednesday 15 July 2020.
We will also be closed for the bank holiday on Monday 31 August 2020 and re-opening on Tuesday 1 September 2020.
If you have an urgent medical problem when the surgery is closed, please contact Lagandoc, the local Out of Hours service, on 028 9260 2204.
During the Covid-19 pandemic we cannot offer routine GP appointments. To ensure the safety of our patients, staff and GPs, you should NOT visit the surgery unless you have been told to by a member of Reception, a nurse of a GP.
We now provide a daily telephone triage service with routine calls logged between 8.30am and 12.00pm, urgent calls thereafter. When you ring us, our staff will ask you some questions to get an overview of your problem. Please respect that the GPs have directed staff to ask these questions to help determine the best course of action to help you.
If appropriate, you may receive a call back from a GP or be given other relevant advice.
We are constantly updating and streamlining our systems in response to a rapidly evolving situation. We can forward sick lines to your mobile phone and arrange video consultations where necessary.
Patients attending surgery
In some circumstances the GP may feel that you should attend the surgery.
Please arrive at your exact appointment time and not earlier for your own safety and that of others as we are trying to limit the number of patients in our waiting area at any one time.
Please feel free to wear your own mask to your appointment.
You will be asked to wash your hands in warm, soapy water before entering the waiting area.
If you are attending an appointment with the Practice Nurse, please wear clothing that will enable quick access to your arm so that she can conduct your vaccination, bloods or BP check quickly and efficiently.
Please do not collect prescriptions at Reception. During the current Coronavirus pandemic, all prescriptions should go to a nominated chemist.
If you need a repeat prescription, please use our 24 hour repeat prescribing line (028 9260 4341) and ensure you provide the name of your preferred chemist along with your name, date of birth, telephone number and medication you wish to order.
