If you or a relative have already been diagnosed with dementia, advice and support is available from the Dementia Navigator Service.

Alzheimer's Society

Alzheimer's Society provides a free, personalised support service Dementia Connect which patients can access by phone, online and when safe to do so following Coronavirus restrictions, face-to-face support in their area.  You can access support by:

Depression

Aware Defeat Depression is a mental health charity based in Northern Ireland and is the only charity here working exclusively for those with depression and bipolar disorder. They have a range of support services and courses which also expand to relatives, carers and friends of those affected by depression who want to know more about how they can help someone recover.

AWARE also has various programmes to help people on their journey to recovery from depression which includes their Living Life to The Full programme which is a six week CBT based programme. Their Mindfulness programme helps to reduce stress and improve our way of thinking in life.
